I am about to finish the first job using nylon yarn and it has not been so bad! It gets meshed easily but this problem is normally avoided by using not very long threads. Estoy a punto de acabar el primer trabajo con el nylon y la experiencia no ha sido tan traumática! Si que es verdad que se enreda más pero si se trabaja con hebras no muy largas se evita este problema.

Acabo de recibir la última compra de cazadoras vaqueras. Disfruto mucho este momento; las expongo delante de mí, las observo, las toco, me fijo en sus costuras y sus colores… mentalmente repaso las ideas que tengo, pienso en los materiales que utilizaré… son un lienzo en blanco.
I just received the last order of denim jackets. I enjoy the moment; I display them in front of me, I observe them, I touch them, I notice its sewings and its colors… I review mentally my ideas, I think about the materials that will be needed… they are like a white canvas.

Hoy os muestro mi primera pieza. La creé hace más de un año. Me inspiré en un bordado sobre bastidor que encontré en http://sewingdaisies.com.au/, me pareció ideal para bordar en la espalda de una cazadora vaquera y sin tener practicamente nada de experiecia, busqué en mi armario una y me lancé a por el proyecto que por cierto resultó muy bien, qué opináis?
Today I show you my first job. I made it more than a year ago now. I found inspiration at http://sewingdaisies.com.au/, I found a design on embroidery frame that I thought was perfect for the back of a denim jacket. I went to my wardrobe, looked for a denim jacket and, despite my lack of experience I went for the job; it looked great! What do you think?
Hace un año empecé a bordar y desde el primer momento tuve claro que quería bordar sobre vaquero. Pasan las décadas y el «denim» sigue estando de moda, combina con todo, y es duradero. Esta semana vendí la primera cazadora, preparé el paquete con amor.
A year ago, I started sewing and from the very beginning I knew I wanted to work on denim. I love this fabric because it is always trendy and it lasts for ages. This week, I sold the first jacket, I prepared the parcel with love.
